iCloud for Windows, version 14.2 does not synch contacts and calendars in Outlook 365

I am having issues getting my new Windows 11 to synch the Outlook contacts and calendars on iCloud for version 14.2. I have tried all of the recommended steps from Apple with no luck. (My iCloud mail synch just fine). The COMM Addin shows up, but there is no iCloud data under the list of calendars.

I noticed on another site users were having the same issue. Their work around was to change string values in the regedit. This is what was suggested: Go through each key looking for the one where REG_BINARY 001f3006 has a value of HEX 69 00 43 00 6c 00 6f 00 75 00 64 00 00 00 (if you double click on that, it shows on the right that it spells iCloud). I got stuck here since none of '001f3006's had the matching HEX numbers.

Does anyone have an easier fix?
