Who Are Community Specialists and Why Do They Talk Funny?
Lately (past year or so), while searching for solutions to problems *I* am experiencing, I keep coming up on threads in the Apple Community where a "Community Specialist" has "answered" a question in a very formal/corporate/verbose/we-understand-you're-having-a-problem way. These responses mostly seem to just give links to existing Apple info and don't seem helpful to me.
- Who are Community Specialists: Apple employees? Super Duper volunteers? AI?
- Why do they talk so funny "We appreciate you reaching out to us", etc.: Trained/told to talk this way? AI programmed this way?
- When and why do these Community Specialists sometimes answer questions and sometimes do not?
