If I have on my Apple Watch and my iphone is nearby, my iphone does not ring. I may get a tap on my arm from my watch, but that doesn't help, as I don't know what the tap if for. I missed two calls today, when I was sitting at my desk with my watch on and phone on the desk.
Is there a setting on the watch that I can change? I have already checked the phone.

If your iPhone is locked, you would only get notifications on your watch.
If your Phone is unlocked and the screen is on, the notification would appear on your iPhone.
