Is there a way to keep the controls/progress bar from disappearing while having the lyrics displayed on Apple Music? (iOS app on iPhone)

Hello, this is a constant annoyance idk how to fix.

I like seeing the lyrics scroll and have the controls/progress bar always visible while I’m playing music in the Apple Music app.

When I initially play a song with the lyrics showing, the controls/progress bar are visible, but they quickly disappear after a few seconds. That said, they do come back if I scroll up/down on the lyrics themselves.

I’ve made countless searches and no one has talked about this as far as I can tell. And yes, I know that clicking the quotes icon will get rid of the lyrics and show the controls/progress bar all the time, but that’s not what I’m asking.

I’m specifically asking if there is a way to keep the controls from disappearing while the lyrics are scrolling in the app (I really don’t need them taking up the whole screen, and having to mess with the screen just to get them back is annoying and leads to “misclicks” (mistouches?))

I have an iPhone 14 Plus and it is up to date (iOS 16.6).
