iPhone 4S screen inverted colours and white background

I just updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 9.3.6 from 8.4.1 ( restored from iTunes on my MacBook on high sierra ) and while it was doing the restore and update i noticed the screen had gone all weird. Before updating, my screen was perfectly fine and now the issue has occurred. I set up the iPhone while the screen was ruined and I have a photo of the issue from updating below.

Hello danial105,

If you wish to restore the iPhone from a backup, you can use the steps here: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup

Keep in mind, restoring from a backup will not revert your iOS version. There isn't a way to revert the iOS version on these devices once an update is installed. Only the data will be restored.

Given the age of the device, it would be best to have it inspected for a solution to be provided. Which may include upgrading the device to a newer supported model. You can use the above steps to get in touch with an Apple Authorized Service Provider for your options.

Hoping this helps out.

Take care.
