NRC Guided runs Voiceover not Working

I have a new Apple Watch SE. When I am using NRC app's Guided Run I cannot hear the coach speaking. I even disconnected my phone by turning off Bluetooth and then I connect the watch with Airpods. If i put the music through the watch I can hear it. Also when I pause the run, I hear the voicover sayig "Pausing the Run". I have turned on and off, voiceover setting both in the app of the phone and watch. I have uninstalled Nike Run app both on the phone and Watch to try and make it work but it hasnt helped either


Kindly advice how this can be resolved

Thanks for posting here in Apple Support Communities. You've done some great troubleshooting so far in attempts to get this resolved. Let's also check that the software is updated on both your Apple Watch and your iPhone. You can verify this on your iPhone by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
