If you want to add many photos to the same album, you could define a keyboard shortcut for adding photos to this album.
I testet this on macOS 16.5 Ventura:
- Open the System Preferences/Settings > Keyboard, then click the button Keyboard Shortcuts.
- In the pane that will open go to the sidebar and click on App Keyboard Shortcuts.
- Click the + to add Photos to the list of apps.
- Now set the entry for App to "Photos"
- Set the name of the menu entry to the name of your album
- Enter a keyboard shortcut that you do not need in Photos.
For example, I just created a shortcut to add the selected item to the album "Souvenirs". I used the "@" key as a shortcut, as never need this key in Photos.
