my 13 year old son wants to use a apple watch i have that is a series 2 but i want to use family sharing but since its a series 2, it cant be useable for family sharing. what should i do, should i press the just for me option?

Per Set up Apple Watch for a family member, you will need an Apple Watch Series 4 or later to set up an Apple Watch for a family member. If you want to use the Apple Watch Series 2, you will need to set it up with a companion iPhone. This can be your iPhone or an iPhone you procure for your son.
We do want to caution you that if you set it up with your iPhone, all of the content on your iPhone will sync to the Apple Watch - including your calls, text messages, email, etc.
