Operating off Yosemite. Every app I try to install says I need 10.15 or newer. Is there anything I can do?

MacBook Air won't update/upgrade None of my applications are working on my computer now because it says that my MacOS X Yosemite 10.10.5 is no longer supported. I have followed every step to try and fix this but I keep going in circles. There is no update in my app store or system updates, and when I search in the app store to find it and download one (ex: MacOS Ventura), it says it's not compatible with my computer. I can find no other solutions online so I don't know what else to do.

Back up your data, check the application compatibility table, click here, and then on the download link for a more-recent OS. Your computer needs to be a 2012 or newer one to run Catalina.

Catalina and above won't run 32-bit software; if you choose one of them, use Go64 as well.

Just confirming what Neil has already said, your Mac needs to be 64 bit capable to run most apps out there today.
