trying to download itunes on my mac book

it tells me “this package is incompatible with this version of macos” even though i updated it to the latest one

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 13.5

On the latest macOS, iTunes is not compatible. iTunes is only for macOS Mojave and lower.

Use the music app on the newer versions of macOS instead
