Deaf person

On apple I can read about turning the volume down if you’re exceeding high volume of sound but I have yet to find any advice for deaf people I am struggling to hear my new iPhone 12 when answering and speaking on loudspeaker is there anything I can alter to adjust this particular problem for me I have adjusted all I can all to no avail
