Well, it's too old to be repaired by Apple or an AASP. Might be time to think about a newer one.

Screen Showing Horizontal Black Lines One of my colleagues today turned on her MacBook Air for the first time in a week and found it displaying horizontal black lines. MacBook Air 13” Black Lit Screen I have a MacBook Air and it was working perfectly fine and one day I took it to work (it was working like normal) but when I got home to use it it wouldn’t turn on. Now it’s stuck with what appears to be a black screen but it’s a lit up black screen! How can I fix this issue?
