Light going down right side of I phone won’t go off ? How do I get it off green top right corner

you cannot switch this off, this is for security reasons, it shows you that the camera is on. There is also an orange one, showing you, that the microphone is on. Both should protect you from not knowing that someone is watching you or listening to you.
