Suddeny unable to view Google Photos via Safari
Mac Sierra 10.12.6
Safari 12.1.2
I’ve asked this question in the Google Community to no avail so perhaps some Apple officionados can help?
About a week ago I suddenly stopped being able to view Google Photos via Safari on my iMac neither via the Google Photos icon link nor via typing in the Google Photos address.
I can still view them perfectly on two iPhones and an iPad. I can also view them fine via Firefox on my iMac but I prefer using Safari.
I can view Google Images and all other Google applications using iMac Safari and surf the web fine with it. So the problem is confined to accessing Google Photos using Safari on my iMac.
What’s weird is that the bank of individual Google Photos doesn’t load at all via Safari, but I can see, in very hazy form, the title photos of my various Google Photos Albums. When I click on an Album its photos do load but in very hazy form.
Also clicking on the ? symbol in Google Photos does not do anything at all.
My internet connection is fine and there haven’t been any recent OSX updates installed on the Mac.
I’ve logged out of Google Photos, all other Google accounts, cleared my iMac cookies and cache etc and restarted my iMac several times, all to no avail.
So, any idea what’s happening?
Thanks.
