1. Go here: Queue Up your Music on iPhone – Apple Support
2. Scroll to: See what you’ve recently played
3. As it Reads: "To play a song in the history, tap it. To remove your playing history, tap Clear."

Seeing your Play History:

Two things…

A. Log in to Music Replay: replay.music.apple.com

You might see it on there, as long as Replay is enabled.

and…

B. Verify that Use Listening History is Enabled:

If Use Listening History is not enabled, then it would not have been tracked.

2. Scroll to: If you don't see Replay
3. As it Reads: “If you still don't see Replay, make sure that Use Listening History is turned on for all of your devices:”

My listening history is on and hasn’t tracked a single song in months now. Is there any other remedy besides checking if listening history is on? No luck during apple support chat either. They don’t seem to understand the actual issue similarly to the responses here.

Apple Music Subscription is Needed:

Are you a subscriber to Apple Music? According to the Help menu, this option is only available if you subscribe to Apple Music and are signed in.

1. Type: listening history in the Help menu
2. Select: Change General settings in Music on Mac
3. Scroll to: Use Listening History
4. What is shown:

I had the same issue for months. I backed my phone up to iCloud and reset my my phone to factory settings. Booted my phone back up and PROBLEM SOLVED. Hope this works for everyone!

Hey were you ever able to fix this? I’m having the same problem. Been in contact with Apple senior advisors and engineers for literally two months and they are no help. Pls tell me you have an answer
