Verify that the Apple TV has AirPlay receiving turned on in Settings﹥AirPlay﹥.

Verify that the Apple TV is (still) activated. If not, it would mention Activation Failed in Settings﹥General﹥About﹥.

Verify that the Apple TV is (still) signed in to with an Apple ID account for the iTunes Store.

Verify that the Apple TV is working nominally without AirPlay. Do the native apps steam?
