iPhone unable to download songs or videos

Hello,

I've encountered a problem on my iPhone where I can't download songs on apple Music or videos on YouTube. On Apple Music, pressing the download button for an individual song or album will start the download progress bar but get stuck on no progress. Video downloads on YouTube have the same behaviour.

The problem first occurred on my previous iPhone only after 3 years of using it. I then switched to a new iPhone and all was good. Roughly 1 month in and I now have the same problem.

It's not a connection issue or storage issue as far as I can tell. I have tested with great connection and have plenty of storage. Apps from the app store, for example, download fine.

I'm on an iPhone 13 Pro with iOS 16.5.1.

Hey Luca_brown,

We noticed you’re using an iPhone XR on iOS 14. If that’s correct, please consider updating your iPhone. The current iOS is 16.6. You can check the iOS version on yours by going to Settings > General > About.
