Numbers showing blank pages in print view

I have "cleared all" and still the extra pages appear.

There might be an invisible or barely visible object (like a text field with a space) to the right of your table. In normal view Zoom the page to 25% and do a Select All to see if anything else than the main table appears.

In Print view you can also scale down gradually until everything fits in one page wide, it would give you an idea of where is the object that occupies the blank page.

Numbers has an (almost) infinite "canvas" where objects can reside. Until we begin the Print process, Numbers does not have pages.

In my humble opinion, there is an unseen object lurking outside the margins of your visible pages, as defined by your paper size and margins.

An example of an innocent looking Numbers Sheet with one Table.

Menu > File > Print to show Print Setup.

An unwanted blank Page 2.

Click on Done to return to normal (editable) view.

Menu > Edit > Select All

Aha! A rectangle Shape with no Fill and no Border. It appears as white on your screen until you do Menu > Edit > Select All. Delete that unwanted object.

Hint: I used Menu > View > Show Rulers to confirm that the naughty Shape was outside my A4 paper width of 210 mm (21 cm on the horizontal ruler)

While in print view, adjust the content scaling so the content you have doesn't spill over into the extra pages.
