When I update my passwords on iPhone password keychain they don’t transfer to my iPad keychain. How can I do this without having to renter all new passwords in my iPad?

You can easily stop received SMS/MMS messages from being forwarded to your iPad by disabling Text Message Forwarding on your iPhone…

Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding - set to OFF - and/or explicitly disable your iPad from the list of devices.

You may also wish to disable Messages in iCloud for your iPad:

Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > Messages - set to OFF
