Flashlight turns on for a split sec when recording

When i go to record a video with flashlight enabled it only stays on for a split second and turns back off but when i just turn on the flashlight without the camera it works just not when i take photos or videos. I have the iphone 13 pro max

Flashlight i have an iPhone 12 Pro when I want to record in flash but the flash doesn’t work the flash just quickly goes off on the back camera and sometimes not at all
