If I change the SIM will I loose any data on my iPad?

If I change the SIM card in my 3rd gen 12.9 Apple iPad Pro to use a different cell carrier will I lose any data on the iPad?

No; the iPad doesn't store anything on the SIM card. Back your data up anyway.
