iCloud & Photos & iPhone Memory

Hi Everyone,

I have quite a lot of photos stored in my iCloud on my MAC in a separate folder, but want them all available on my phone. The amount of photos is over my phones memory limit, if I drop them into the photos app on my Mac, will this take up memory on my iPhone?

hope that makes sense, any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you sync your photos to iCloud all items will sync on all devices onto which you sync. You can optimize storage on your device (settings > photos) to keep the originals in iCloud and optimized versions on your device. This will save substantial space on your device.
