Remove email from server option no longer exists MacBook Air M2 Ventura 13.5

There does not appear to be an option to configure mail to remove the messages from the server. I've searched on Apple support and on the google and have found nothing. There are messages and instructions for what appear to be previous versions of mail but nothing for what I have. They all start with go to Mail->Preferences. That option doesn't exist. There is no Preferences under mail. I tried looking in Accounts, nothing. It appears that the option to remove mail from the server has been removed from the workstation.

It's an older account. The ISP has been bought, merged, I'm not really sure, three times now. It's POP. I tried to create it as IMAP and put in the servers I have for inbound and outbound. When it connected to the ISP it must have renegotiated as POP, that's what it shows it as in accounts. However; I did find a setting to remove the mail from the server. It wasn't originally obvious to me. It's set to remove after 30 days. I might have to play around with that and see.
