Printer preview field “to” out of range

When I went to print a sign came up which said The value in the “ from” field is out of range. I click “ ok” and nothing happens

You can always force quit a shutdown by holding the power button/TouchID for ~6-10 sec.

You should be able to Command-Q to quit Safari, or Command-Option-escape and force quit any application that is stuck.

Or, as leroydouglas has suggested, just press and hold the power button to force your mac to shutdown. This is a brute force method that never fails.
