Is there a way to connect an Ipad to either a Mac or Windows (preferably windows) and use it like a MIDI piano?
I have a foldable keyboard thats a pain to bring in public which i use with flat.io on my laptop to write music. I know some have had luck turning the ipad into a MIDI controller but most are for audio editing and whatnot, so I was wondering if there was a way to use it with my music writing software?

I write sheet music and need to use this specific software or musescore for my needs. Do you think the garageband piano would work as a midi piano through a different software? (sorry if this is confusing in any way, I don't know the best way to approach my question.)
