Apple Music empty playlist library after re-subscription after 2 months

Hi, I am trying to recover my playlists after my subscription renewal, but I can only find the titles but not the songs in them. My subscription expired on 21st June 2023, so it is only a little over a month. Am I missing something, as I've tried all the tips and tricks I could find on Google but got no help, or did Apple delete my music library after over a month of nonrenewal? If that is the case, this is ridiculous and unacceptable.

I cancelled my AppleOne subscription in January 2024 as the cost seemed to steep for the features I actually use. My subscription then ran out on February 9th 2024. I checked today and all my playlists had disappeared, some of which I have been curating for literally years, since the mid-2000s, first on iTunes and then Apple Music.

These playlists are literally part of who I am. They have been the reason for many happy family parties of the years. It even had the playlists on from our wedding. I was mortified to think I could have lost these countless hours of music forever. I think Apple should preserve this data for when people can restore their subscriptions.

Anyway, I'm glad I stumbled on this page. I have now re-subscribed to the basic individual package, and within a few minutes my playlists had all re-synced. Phew!!

Apple, please consider making this far more obvious to people, or find a way for people to preserve their playlists or save/export them. We don't expect to be able to listen for free. Just keep the lists, the names of the songs, etc., so they're there when we can re-subscribe. Playlists can be intensely personal to people.

that is the only reason I don’t want to use Apple Music is kind of weird to delete all my downloading playlist songs when my subscription expire

apple should know that all the songs we downloaded takes data the should lock the songs when subscription expire then reopen the songs when users resubscribe. What am trying to say apple should keep all the downloaded music data instead of deleted it. Like YouTube music keeps all downloaded songs and videos when subscription expire but users can not play the songs until the users resubscribe; Apple Music should do the same please…

I’m having the exact same issue I literally was just listening to my music about two weeks ago. I finally got paid and re-subscribed but everything is gone and it’s only been two weeks since my last subscription please help I would love to get all my music back as you know how painful it can be to lose a part of your life like that.
