My MacBook Pro (2018) won't recognize my two Dell monitors and treats both as the same monitor.

I have a 2018 MBP (13", no touch bar) and a Dell D6000 dock connected to 2 Dell docks with DP cables. On my windows computer, both monitors are recognized as separate quite easily but with my Mac, both monitors are treated as the same (ie. one mirrors the other and only one is recognized by the Mac). I would like for both monitors to be recognized as separate so I can have 3 effectively independent screens to visualize things. Is there a way to fix this? The dock uses USB-C to connect to my Mac. All monitors have power and the Mac charges via the Dock. My Dell laptop worked with this dock (with USB-C) and all monitors were recognized by it.

To use multiple displays on one cable on a Mac, the port, the cable, and the first device (Dock or Display) must all be genuine ThunderBolt devices. USB-C has only half the data pathways of Thunderbolt, and the Mac does not support multiple display on one USB-C cable.
