Just bought Apple Watch SE and the details noted that it would be able to pair with an iPhone SE, however, I am trying to pair it now with my iPhone 7 SE and I am getting a notification that says I need an iPhone 8 or later. Is there anyway to pair my iPhone 7SE ?

"Apple Watch Ultra, Apple Watch Series 8, and Apple Watch SE require an iPhone 8 or later with iOS 16 or later."
An iPhone series 6S and 7, and SE 1st generation can only update to iOS 15.7.7
There is no work-around. Try to get a refund.

Thanks everyone for your replies, I was able to figure it out. My iPhone 7 SE allows iOS 16, which I thought I had updated, but hadn’t. I updated to iOS 16 and the watch has paired now. Thanks again!
An iPhone 7, first generation iPhone SE, or any other model incapable of iOS 16 can't be paired with a watch on 9.0 or above.
