Airpod Pro won't connect to my Macbook Pro

My AirPods Pro 2nd gen. are connected to my iPhone. The AirPods have the current version update.

However the AirPods won't connect on my MacBook Pro, (15", Monterey version 12.3). There is a spinning wheel, no connection. I have tried to "forget" and reconnect. It works on the iPhone but still won't connect to the laptop.

Any ideas?

Sure, I'll try to assist you with this issue. Here are several steps you can try:

1. **Reset the AirPods**: Sometimes, AirPods need to be reset in order to reconnect to devices properly. To do this, put your AirPods in their case and close the lid. Wait about 30 seconds, then open the lid. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth and tap the "i" next to your AirPods, then tap "Forget This Device". Then, with the AirPods in the open case, hold the button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds until you see the status light flash amber, then flash white. This means the AirPods have been reset and you can try pairing them with your MacBook again.

2. **Check for updates**: Ensure your MacBook Pro is updated to the latest macOS version. Go to System Preferences > Software Update and see if there's an update available. If there is, install it and then try connecting your AirPods again.

3. **Check Bluetooth settings**: Go to System Preferences > Bluetooth on your MacBook and ensure that Bluetooth is turned on. If it is and you're still having trouble, you might want to try resetting your Mac's Bluetooth module. To do this, hold down Shift + Option and click the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar at the same time. From there, click on "Reset the Bluetooth module" in the debug dropdown menu.

4. **Reboot Devices**: Sometimes, a simple restart can help solve connectivity issues. Try restarting both your MacBook and your iPhone, and then see if the AirPods can connect to the MacBook.

5. **Distance from other devices**: Make sure your MacBook and AirPods are close to each other and there are no other Bluetooth devices nearby that could interfere with the connection.

6. **Audio settings**: If you can connect but there is no sound, make sure that AirPods are selected as the output device. To do this, go to System Preferences > Sound > Output, and select your AirPods from the list.

7. **Contact Apple Support**: If none of the above steps work, it could be a hardware problem. It would be best to get in touch with Apple Support. They can provide further assistance and potentially offer repair or replacement if necessary.

Hopefully one of these steps will solve the issue for you!
