security lockout

My phone goes to security lockout while carrying it in my pocket. Recovery wait time varies from a few minutes to an hour. How do I reduce screen sensitivity to avoid inadvertent attempts to open my phone?

Hello Nbypt!

I advise you to turn off “Tap to Wake.” Go to: Settings > Accessibility > Touch. Now, you can turn it off.

If that doesn’t seem to help, take it a step further, and turn off “Raise to Wake” found in: Settings > Display & Brightness.

I hope this is helpful. Good Luck!
