How to remove Search Alpha browser

My daughter got this Search Alpha Browser (search-alpha.com...) on her computer and now we cant see to get rid of it. Everytime we open an new Safari/Google Chrome page it pulls up this Search Alpha. We have done all we can to get rid of it (removed unwanted apps/LInks/downloaded McAffee). I am afraid its either a virus or something pulling personal infromation and no one can get rid of it. What do we need to do?

Try and set up your default search engine

To change these settings, choose Safari > Settings, then click Search.

If the search engine is correct, try and remove unwanted extensions for safari

Choose Safari > Settings (or Preferences), then click Extensions. To turn off an extension, deselect its checkbox. To uninstall an extension, select the extension and click the Uninstall button.
