siri is not working when riding motor bike

I have the same issue. It seems that there is no way around this problem. What works fine in the car does not on a motorcycle.

Go to Settings>Face ID & Passcode>Allow Access When Locked. The things I would recommend making sure are turned on are Siri, Reply with Messages, and Return Missed Calls.

I believe, though, that there are some things that are always unavailable unless the phone is unlocked.

I’m having the same problem, and my phone is set the way you suggest. My Google assistant had no problems with voice texting or making calls without being unlocked, Siri has to be unlocked which means stopping my ride. How can this phone system be so far behind?

Hi Thomas. You just have to adjust your settings to make it possible for Siri to respond if the iPhone is locked. You can find full instructions in the link below. I’ve copied the pertinent part for you.

Check if "Hey Siri" is turned on

1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Siri & Search.
3. From here, make sure the following settings are turned on:
