I have a MacBook Air 13 laptop. I use it for personal use and photography. I use Lightroom cc as well. I have no more storage to use it. I continue to delete things and use an external hard drive. How can I clean my computer more to get more space?

I use Lightroom cc and it tells me I have no more use on there. I get a message that pops on my screen saying I need more GB to continue and clean up files. I use an external hard drive as well and clean files but nothing works. What can I do?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

What's the capacity of your internal disk? You need to keep 15%-20% of it completely unused for OS efficiency and certain problem elimination. A smallish disk (120GB, 256GB) is not likely serving you well; maybe not even 512GB. A MacBook Air would not have been my first choice for photography tasks but that's just me.

Even if you have a "large" internal disk, you may still need external storage. Images and image processing can take up a lot of space as files can be rather large. This situation you can't really change unless you alter your work flow.

The use of external storage is a good practice, often recommended here, but remember, if the work is important to you, that external disk needs to be backed up too.
