keyboard clicks delayed, randomly increase in noise, completely stop playing randomly

Hello all, I have been using iOS for a while and since I bought an iPhone last year I have had a constant issue since the day I bought it where the keyboard clicks sometimes don’t work properly. They can be delayed by quite a lot and sometimes play all at once rather than one at a time, and will even randomly increase in volume out of nowhere. I’ve tried a few things to no avail such as disabling and re enabling the keyboard clicks, making sure reduce motion in accessibility is off, etc. At this point I don’t know what else to do, this has been an ongoing issue for quite some time and I’m not sure if there is a permanent fix or if this is a bug that just has not been addressed

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your iPhone's keyboard clicks. There can be a few potential reasons for this issue such as a software glitch, outdated iOS version, or even certain settings on your device. Here are a few steps you can try to potentially resolve this:

  1. Restart your iPhone: This can often fix minor software glitches. Simply hold down the side button and either volume button, then slide to power off. Once the iPhone is off, hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo.
  2. Check for iOS updates: An outdated iOS can sometimes cause unusual issues. Check if any updates are available by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
  3. Reset All Settings: If the issue still persists, you could try resetting all settings. This won't delete any data, but it will reset all your system preferences. To do this, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. Note, you will need to re-enter your Wi-Fi passwords and re-adjust your system settings after performing this reset.
  4. Factory Reset: If the issue still persists, you could consider performing a factory reset. This will delete everything and make your iPhone like new. Before you do this, please make sure to back up all important data. To do a factory reset, go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. Once the reset is complete, you can restore your data from your backup.

If none of these suggestions work, it might be best to get in touch with Apple Support or make a Genius Bar appointment if you're near an Apple Store. It's possible that there's a hardware issue with your device that needs to be diagnosed by a professional.

Thanks!
