Final Cut Pro crashing for the past 2 weeks

Hi, I use Final Cut Pro 10.6.7 with MacOS Ventura 13.4.1 (c) every day on my Mac Mini and my MacBook. For the past 2 weeks, the program crashes every 15 minutes roughly on both machines and on various projects. I thought it was maybe a bug in one of my edits but since it's happening on both machines and different projects, I think it's a different issue. Has anyone else been experiencing this?

In my years using FCP since 2011, it's never been like this. Here is the beginning of the crash report if that's any help.

Well, unfortunately, FCP still crashed twice.

I've just updated FCP now from 10.6.7 to 10.6.8 and hope that will fix the issue.

It talks about freezing in the update. Maybe Apple really meant: crashing.

I'll use FCP in coming days and hopefully that will be the end of the issue. I'll report back. Thanks again.

Hold Opt-Cmd as you launch the application.

The settings will likely get corrupted when the application crashes as the settings, that include the application state, are recorded while the application is shutting down. The corrupted file will likely reproduce the problem that initiated the crash.

Fortunately FCP has few settings and things like layouts are saved when the settings are trashed into a compressed file on the desktop. Keyboard layouts are still available even if the reset changes them back to the default.

Well, it just crashed again so the update or preference didn't do it... Oh my. I think it's a font issue. I use Open Sans in a project. And I have Open Sans installed in my font book (got that from Google). But also Open Sans from Adobe's font (Creative Cloud). It seems like there is something related to that. Anyway, this is just tiring but I think I will get to the bottom of this. Thanks and sorry for the multiple messages.
