external discs keep ejecting themselves

Hi,

I've seen some of you had a problem with externals ejecting themselves already...

I have a new macbook pro m2 and i'm using a verbatim adapter in order to plug in two externals.

what happens is: plugging in the second external, unplugs improperly the first one, already plugged in.

both work fine when used separately or one by one.

both WD externals.

different names, different storage

Have changed the cables, energy save off....

any clue how to solve this?
