Screen time is combined or app specific?

I set a screen time for 4 apps for 30 minutes understanding that it’s 30 minutes per app. But it turns out that after a few minutes of using the apps the screen time runs out. Does the 30 minutes mean a combined time of all 4 apps or is it each app?
