iCloud data taking up space on my Macbook Air drive

I am running out of memory on my SSD on my MacBook Air. iCloud is taking up a lot of GB on my drive. How do I free up space on my MacBook Air.

Anything you do to iCloud Drive is not going to affect memory ... RAM. Disk space, storage space, is well ... disk space and is usually 120GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and the like. RAM is 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and the like. RAM is volatile; disk space is "permanent" storage.
