contact list picture icons on iphone 14 pro max

when i touch the phone icon and go to "contact list" on my iphone 14 pro max - how come there's no tiny circular profile icon left to the contact's name?

did apple change it and how do i get it back.

i'm not talking about the "imessage" app.

Contacts icon on my ipad My contact list exists on my iPad, but I have no icon on my home screen to access it. How do I find the correct icon, and then, how do I add it to my home screen?

Hi androiduser559,

When viewing your contacts you won't see their photo until you tap on the contact that you're wanting to view. There isn't a setting to change this however, you can can leave your feedback here: Product Feedback - Apple
