Same crap it’s happening to my iPhone 14 Pro and my iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (6th generation). Both devices are running the latest iOS 16.6, but they have been doing this behavior since 16.5 iOS

this has been happening for 2 years now. Just upgraded to iOS 17 on iPhone 14Pro. Ditto on iPad mini (new in February this year).
