Thanks so much for quick response. We went through each of the video categories and reset as instructed. Magically something finally worked and the screen quit blinking. Keeping our fingers crossed. Thanks again for your help!
I had this problem, driving me nuts on my Samsung TV that is 4k capable with Apple TV 4K. Finally tried something that seems to have fixed it: change on Apple TV under settings, video and audio, change “Format” to 4K SDR from HDR.
Even though both work, HDR seems to be the setting causing intermittent black screens and pic quality still seems great. Hope this helps and saves you some time…
