Will apple watch bought in the USA work in Kenya on cellular
Hi looking to buy a new apple watch series 8 w cellular for use in Kenya. Apparently the ones in Australia are not compatible. Which regions / where can i buy one outside Kenya?
WheelieNick is correct, an Apple Watch purchased in USA will only be compatible with cellular networks in the North America region. For use in the rest of the world a USA-cellular-watch will work like the GPS-only version, connecting over Bluetooth to the paired iPhone.

You will notice that Kenya is not mentioned, so none of the cellular networks can support Apple Watch with standalone cellular connectivity. That means it is pointless extra cost to buy any cellular version for use in Kenya, and you should purchase the GPS (only) version.
A quick look at Identify your Apple Watch - Apple Support to find model numbers shows there is only one worldwide GPS-only version for each series of Apple Watch. You should be fine with Apple Watch (GPS) purchased anywhere in the world, because it will pair and communicate through your iPhone.
Advice: purchase in the region and country where you intend to live and use the Apple Watch. That way you get a compatible device with valid warranty.
