AppleTV+ using High Sierra

I can access my AppleTV+ subscription on a mid2011 iMac/High Sierra 10.13.6/Safari13.1.2 (13609.3.5.1.5).

The only video that plays is the promotional/preview for MLS Season Pass. I can navigate the site but none of the video controls respond. What I've seen in support implies it should work, so either something must be blocking it or else it actually doesn't work with the OS.

Seems Safari on High Sierra simply does not work for https://tv.apple.com. It may just be too old.

It won't start playing anything for me either. Even though it does open the video, it just sits and does nothing.

You may want to try a different browser. Firefox seems to work o.k.
