Hello,
A friend took my icloud email and other people’s numbers to create a group chat on iMessages. (Btw…i use an ipad which is why i gave my icloud-not a phone number)
I didn’t see the group chat on my side so i asked a few friends to add me again, but for them it shows that I am already in it. What can I do to fix this issue? Please give me steps on what to do.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. If you haven't already, look through your thread list again and if found, ensure you didn't accidentally mute the group message. Those steps can be found under "How to mute a group text message" here: Leave a group text message thread on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
If that doesn't help, start a new group message thread to see if you are then able to remain in the group message: Send a group text message on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
