My business network will not allow devices on it if private wifi is enabled. I can turn it off on my iphone, but I do not see that option for my macbook.

Thanks for the link. Although the article title includes MacBook, unfortunately the content does not seem to. I can't find the Private Wi-Fi Address feature on macOS 13.6.1. So perhaps there's nothing to turn off.
Nice, thank you. However the article you mention discusses hiding your IP address, whereas the Private Wi-Fi Address feature concerns the device's MAC address, e.g. 5A:76:97:E1:4F:8E.
