setup Sent folder in sidebar

I have just changed hardrive and storage and RAM etc on my imac and now, when I use Apple Mail, there is no "Sent" or "Sent messages" folder showing in the sidebar. How do I set it up again?

My Scheduled Emails aren't appearing in the 'Sent' folder How can I check that a send later scheduled mail has actually been sent? I have started using the send later feature on my apple mails. I schedule a mail to be sent on a later date. I can see the mail in the "send later" folder i.e. all looks okay. I ensure my macbook is up and running and the internet is available at the time the mail should be sent. (Although I expect anyway that the mail should still be sent as soon as I boot up my macbook or make internet available should that be the case). In this case the internet is available and the macbook is running at the schedule send time. When I check after the scheduled date and time I can see that the scheduled mail is no longer in the "send later" folder. So it appears as if it has been sent. However I cannot see the mail in the "sent" folder. Why? Is there somewhere else I should be looking? Is the mail really sent? I also BCC myself and i did not receive the email. These are important messages so i won't be using this option again until i can be sure the messages are actually sent. Please help. Thanks. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Mac Mail copying instead of moving Mac Mail seems to be copying messages instead of moving messages when I drag them into folders. How do I fix this?

Where are the missing message located presently ?

Is the e-mail Provider using IMAP Protocol ?

Is the e-mail Provider using SMTP Protocol ?

If using the IMAP Protocol - what is appearing on the Web Portal of the e-mail Provider should be mirrored back to the Mail Application.

Have you Logged into the Web Portal of the e-mail provider and checked if the missing e-mail are appearing in a Sent or similarly name Folder ?

Thank you.

Should have Corrected Myself 😔 - should have written POP and not SMTP

POP Protocol would Remove the e-mails from the Server.

This would effective place the mails ON the computer ( Locally Stored ).

You may what to check in the Mail Application for a folder called " On My Mac " if one should exist

I don't know where the sent emails reside after I send them as I can't see them anywhere.

Incoming server is POP

Outgoing server is SMTP

I looked in webmailox email site (the web portal of netregistry my hosting co) and there is no equivalent to te Send folder there

Any other suggestions?
