Please help I'm trying to reset my child’s apple ID. Apple is sending the reset pin to the number that is no longer active.
Is there a way of sending this to myself (mobile number or e-mail) if i did not put any recovery data initialy

I note that this is for the child's ID so you need to do this in the context of the child's account, not "yours".
If you can still sign into the child's account on another device you can investigate adding more ways to get a code such as multiple telephone numbers where you can receive a text or a phone call. This is from the section "About trusted phone numbers and trusted devices" in the article: Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support
To see, add, or change a trusted phone number, use one of these methods:
● On an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch logged into the child's account: Go to Settings > the child's name > Password & Security. Next to Trusted Phone Number, tap Edit.
● On a Mac computer choose Apple menu > System Settings (or System Preferences), then click the child's name (or Apple ID). Click Password & Security, then add or remove a trusted phone number.
● Using a web browser: Go to the Account Security section of https://appleid.apple.com .

If you had set up an Account Recovery Contact ( Set up an account recovery contact - Apple Support ) for the child you can also get a code that way.

Thank you but I have tried it all.
iforgort: does not work as it is sending the code to the number that is no longer in service.
Account recovery: is not working as I did not setup myself as recovery contact.

A recovery contact is something you can use instead of Account Recovery. Acct. Rec. is done by Apple with information provided by the account owner.
