The answer depends completely on your email service provider, and the type of email service you are using (IMAP, POP3).
POP3 email service, the older technology, cannot be synched as the email messages are stored on each client.
If your email account is an IMAP account, the emails should sync and you shouldn’t have to do anything. If it’s a POP account, you can’t get mail to sync across devices.
