• In a Messages conversation, tap a sticker app below the text field.
• Touch and hold a sticker, then drag it on top of a message in the conversation. Before you release it, you can do any of the following: Adjust the angle: Rotate a second finger around the finger dragging the sticker.

Browse and download iMessage apps

1. In a Messages conversation, tap  to show the app icons below the text field.
2. Tap  to open the App Store for iMessage.
3. Tap an app to see more details and reviews, then tap the price to purchase an app or tap Get to download a free app.
4. All purchases are made with the payment method associated with your Apple ID.

• Make sure your photos are in portrait mode. The sticker-making feature in iOS 16 can only work with photos that are in portrait mode. If your photos are in landscape mode, you won't be able to make stickers from them.
• Make sure the subject of your photo is well-defined. The sticker-making feature in iOS 16 works by detecting the subject of a photo and then cutting it out. If the subject of your photo is not well-defined, the feature may not be able to detect it and you won't be able to make a sticker from it.
