Is Apple is shutting down this My Photos feature in favour of iCloud Photos? No longer use My photos in Iphone/Ipad/Mackbook and delete existing photos in My photos?

My Photo Stream stored up to 1000 photos for 30 days, after which they were deleted from iCloud.

As of June 26, you couldn’t add anymore photos to My Photo Stream.

My Photo Stream will be shut down in 8 days.

It is best to turn on iCloud Photos now. Please see this for helpful instructions.

Hello,

Thank you for the reply, So as per above forum link it stated that photos remain in My Photos for 30 days then delete from iCloud photos. So if we don't Turn on iCloud Photos would these photos remain 30days in My photos or remain in local storage until it get deleted?
